Terms of Service

1. The Service

SpotDex lets you photograph vehicles, run AI identification, and build a collection with XP, rarity and achievements. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EEA where applicable) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password safe.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you upload. You grant SpotDex a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content to operate the Service (including running AI identification and showing it to other users in feeds).

4. Acceptable use

• No illegal, harassing, hateful, or infringing content.
• Do not upload photos of people or private property without permission.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.

5. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are at our discretion unless required by law.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". AI identifications may be inaccurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpotDex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
